As per my other two reviews below, I bought 3 of these beautiful coffee mugs from Marty, and I just love them. They are beautifully designed--very innovative, the colors are vivid, they are fun to use, and I have ended up with a lot of Marty's art on display since the pieces are so beautiful and dramatic. But this really is a beautiful piece, and I just love the colors. So in sum, I just could not be more pleased. Beautiful piece!

As per my review below, I just broke down and bought 3 of these coffee mugs from Marty, and I just love them, as I do his work in general (I own 4 tumblers from Marty too). They are beautifully designed---very innovative, and if u like contemporary ceramics, I don't think anyone can touch Marty. Furthermore, his pieces, such as this beautiful mug, are just amazing....fun to use, look at, and are just radical/progressive. And I think this one is my fav...I just love the colors, and am just thrilled to have it sitting in my kitchen. But this really is a truly stunning, and fun, piece! :)

I absolutely love this mug as I do Marty's work in general. I have picked up 7 of 8 of his last available pieces at etsy....tumblers and now coffee mugs, and I just love them. The 8th was simply redundant. They are beautifully made, I love the designs and colors, and I just can't rave enough about Marty's innovative style...e.g., the little steps on his pieces, or the uniqueness of the handle as you can see in the picture here. So, in sum, I just could not be more pleased. Marty's art is also sooo much fun to use, but frankly, so far, half the pieces I have purchased from Marty are so awesome looking that I keep them on display. Beautiful piece, as are the other two I promptly broke down and bought after this! :)

As with the tumbler/ yunomi below, I absolutely love these artistic pieces. This tumbler is the fourth I have purchased from Marty, as I truly enjoy them so much! They are artsy, and awesome looking/radical with their little steps, are a delightful size and shape to use, and personally, they have truly become a favorite item of mine around this house---for display and daily use. As noted below, I hope to see more work from this "contemporary talent," Marty, in the future! But for now, these tumblers are fun, and delightful!

I absolutely love this yunomi/tumbler by this most talented contemporary artist! It is fun, creative, and awesome to use--plus, I confess--I bought 4 of these from Marty now--just got this and one other, so I know from my first two how awesome and fun they are! , But I absolutely love these tumblers, as I do all of Marty's historic art. I truly hope he posts more work at etsy in the future, as I feel he is one of only a few really top quality creative contemporary ceramic artists out there. But these tumblers are awesome, which is why I ultimately bought all of them. Two on display and two for use. Beautiful work, Marty!

I just received this tumbler today and I absolutely love it! This is my second of a similar style. As with the other, I love the contemporary design! It is so unique, with its square shape and it's little step. Is awesome! I also love the colors and size, plus it is really fun to use. Now that I have two, I keep one on display, as it is so "artsy," and the other I use. In general, I could not be more pleased. There are few contemporary artists out there like Marty. And beautiful work on this one!

I just received this tumbler today and absolutely love it! It is so colorful, artsy, interesting, fun, modern, and frankly just awesome! Right now it is on display in my kitchen and I cannot wait to use it. It is a perfect size for me too...not too large or small. What a creative piece and I truly hope to be able to collect some additional work by this artist in the future! I believe individuals such as Marty are hard to find, with such an innovative modern progressive style in ceramics. Beautiful work!
